We first met at Youth and Teens Impact Jakarta — Veysie was serving as a singer, and Bill as an usher on duty. At that time, we didn’t know each other at all.
Later, during a fellowship session at Soho Capital, we finally learned each other’s names. Our friendship started simply as fellow acquaintances in ministry.
When Covid came, activities paused for a while. Until one day, we both joined a counselor training and were paired to counsel one another. That was the moment we began to open up and share our personal struggles.
After a long period without much interaction, God brought us together again at Pondok Daud Haleluya Center PIK. That was the beginning of Bill’s admiration for Veysie. From then on, conversations grew more frequent, and we often went home together after ministry.
Our bond was strengthened through a 10-day Revival, ESBC, KKS Training, and Youth & Teens Speaker Training — seasons of preparation that gave us more time together. Finally, at UC 2023, we were both inaugurated as KKS.
Of course, our journey wasn’t without challenges. There were stories, rejections, and moments when the heart wasn’t easy to tame. But through God’s Rhema, His strength to endure, and the encouragement of those closest to us, we stepped into the “dating” season in October 2023.
At the start, we had no clear idea of how or when our wedding would take place. God took us through many processes, shaping us along the way. Only in December 2024 did we decide to prepare for this big step.
Throughout our journey, we have seen so much of God’s faithful provision. He placed the right people around us, who supported and prayed for us, making this wedding possible today.
One promise we hold dearly is: “I do not work halfway, and I will fulfill My plans to the end.”

“Staying married, therefore, is not mainly about staying in love. It is about keeping covenant. “Till death do us part” or “As long as we both shall live” is a sacred covenant promise—the same kind God made with His bride when He died for her.”
